The Smuggler is a small family run bed and breakfast with a homely atmosphere situated in Lyme Regis Town Centre, where shops, restaurants, the cinema and Langmoor Gardens are close by. The sea front is only a few minutes walk away, as is Mark Hix's Oyster and Fish House and River Cottage HQ is only 10 minutes away by car.
Lyme Regis is great for the family, try a fossil tour with Brandon Lennon, buy some fresh fish from Simon, eat a wonderful meal at Jurrasic go for a drink in the Volly see the latest film next door, or, catch the bus and have a cup of coffee in Bridport. (see all links below)
At present we have 3 letting rooms that can be used as double/single/family or twin rooms
GUEST KITCHEN available for those who wish to self cater. People on special diets, single people and those with small children have found this facility extremely useful
PRICES range from £25 - £40 per person per night depending on requirements
SINGLE NIGHT bookings taken subject to availability as are single people
DEPOSITs covering the first night are requested at the time of booking to secure your room. This deposit is none refundable unless 5 working days notice is given and a small admin fee may be charged. The balance to be paid on arrival.
For single night bookings the full amount is required at time of booking and may not be refundable.
CHEQUES We accept cheques made payable to The Smuggler. We now take Debit/credit cards a small charge may be taken for this service
If you wish to have confirmation of receipt of cheque please e-mail us at chrissy-burgess@o2.co.uk giving details, we will check our records and respond
If we do not receive your deposit or payment within 5 working days we cannot guarantee your booking
DOGS are welcome by prior arrangements a small fee may be asked for
WALKERS Please see the luggage transfer webb link below if you want the freedom of walking without heavy bags.
We ask all our guests to phone us on 01297 442795 or 07917403200 on arrival so that we can direct them into the car park and their rooms.
Arrival time from 3pm departure by 10am. Please advise if you are going to arrive late
It is always worth giving us a ring on your way down as if room is ready and parking is available we are happy to let you in early
